Health And Welfare Systems AnalystDynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Nice to have skills include: query writing, ability to think across agile squads, developed code in the pastThe Role The Health and Welfare Systems Analyst is a member of the Health Care Operations Organization. This is an exciting role that offers an opportunity to blend your systems analysis, critical thinking, and analytical skills. The Health and Welfare Systems Analyst is responsible for providing support in an Agile environment for client advised projects to ensure that the systems are functioning according to the detailed business requirements. As a member of the Configuration Chapter, the Systems Analyst works within their squad on new client implementations and existing client corporate actions and fee for service projects. Your interactions with the team will model Fidelity leadership principles to sustain an agile innovative culture and build a positive environment for your squad.The Expertise and Skills EducationBS or BA RequiredExperience:5-7 years of experience in Health & Welfare Domain is preferred.Ability to evaluate client requirements against systems functionality and provide configuration design solutions as requiredAbility to think across Agile Squads and product categoriesOrganizational skills to define and meet deadlines within an Agile squad structureCompetence in application/technology experience such as PLSQL, SQL, MS Access is preferred.Good interpersonal and analytical skillsAbility to assess gaps between offering and client needs to recommend solutionsHighly organized and self-motivatedFlexible, multitasking and work with various members of the team on multiple projects or initiativesAbility to work in a dynamic fast paced environmentUnderstanding of the software development project life cycle processExperience with related desktop software tools (MS Office, JIRA)The Value You DeliverPartner with the Scrum Leader/Squad Leader to understand the goals and the work for each sprintDefine and analyze client requirement changes for Annual Enrollment and Ongoing ProjectsPerform data analysis and reporting for effective client decisionsIdentify problems with business requirements and recommend modifications to the functional solution which may impact the system designBuild test scenarios for Unit and Regression Testing.
