HVAC Engineer

To support the design and development of HVAC systems for passenger rail transit vehicles, the remote HVAC System Engineer will execute system design, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with specifications while contributing to project scheduling and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities Execute the design and development of HVAC systems and controls, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and specifications Perform system performance calculations and prepare technical proposals, including creating and maintaining system schematics and documentation Provide technical support and feedback to internal teams, ensuring specification compliance and representing the company at customer-facing events Required qualifications Practical knowledge of HVAC or similar electromechanical equipment and principles Understanding of thermodynamics, physics, and systems calculations Experience developing technical proposals and documentation Knowledge of refrigeration systems and relevant ISO standards Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or physics with at least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
