Software Test Engineer - Onsite

Job Category Engineering/Technical Employment Type Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT) Position Software Test Engineer Location Durham, NC Duration 12 Months Hours per week 40.00 Shift 1st Shift Client Medical Devices Company Qualifications Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering. Experience: 3-5 years in software testing and test automation. Technical Skills: Automation tools such as Selenium, AccelQ, TestComplete, and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Shell. Familiar with defect tracking (ADO, Jira) and test management tools. Methodologies: Worked in Agile development environment, TDD/BDD, and manual component/system testing. Knowledge of test principles and test methodology. Prior experience testing software for hardware device control. Responsibilities Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts. Execute, analyze, and document test results. Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with developers on corrective actions.
