The Senior Vendor Manager is responsible for the strategic and commercial management of logistics vendors supporting the Company's U.S. operations. This position owns key vendor relationships, commercial negotiations, provider selection and onboarding, performance management, and logistics cost optimization. The role conducts financial and operational analysis to identify opportunities that improve profitability, service performance, and scalability while leading vendor negotiations, KPI governance, and business reviews. The Senior Vendor Manager partners cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and other stakeholders to develop scalable logistics solutions supporting product launches, seasonal demand, market expansion, and broader business objectives. General Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute vendor management strategies that support revenue, profitability, service, and operational objectives. Conduct financial and operational analyses of business opportunities and vendor arrangements to identify opportunities to improve cost, service, and overall business performance. Lead annual and ongoing negotiations with assigned logistics vendors regarding pricing, commercial terms, service requirements, and performance expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor selection, onboarding, relationship management, escalations, negotiations, and performance improvement. Establish, monitor, and evaluate vendor KPIs, including on-time performance, claims rates, cost per shipment, service failures, and other established measures. Lead quarterly business reviews and recurring performance meetings with key vendors. Identify vendor performance deficiencies and establish corrective action plans, escalation strategies, and performance-improvement requirements. Analyze freight spend, vendor pricing, shipment profiles, and other cost drivers to identify opportunities to reduce cost per unit without compromising established service levels. Develop business cases and recommendations for vendor changes, contract modifications, transportation optimization, and cost-saving opportunities. Monitor logistics industry conditions, business trends, competitive developments, capacity constraints, and other external factors that may affect vendor strategy or operational performance. Collaborate with Finance on freight accruals, invoice approvals, spend analysis, budget forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop scalable vendor and logistics strategies to support new product launches, seasonal volume increases, market expansion, and changing business requirements. Coordinate across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and other business functions to ensure vendor capabilities and service requirements align with organizational needs. Maintain vendor performance documentation, agreements, scorecards, financial analyses, and other records necessary to support effective vendor governance. Ensure assigned vendors comply with applicable contractual requirements, SLAs, SOPs, safety standards, and operational requirements. Identify vendor-related operational and financial risks and develop appropriate mitigation or contingency strategies. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing vendor performance, financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for management. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on vendor performance, logistics cost, service reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in vendor management, logistics, supply chain, or procurement. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in vendor management, logistics, transportation, supply chain, procurement, or related business operations, including significant experience managing strategic logistics providers, preferably in eMobility, consumer electronics, or powersports. Demonstrated experience negotiating rates, commercial agreements, SLAs, and other contractual terms with logistics or transportation providers. Experience evaluating, selecting, onboarding, and managing third-party logistics providers, carriers, or comparable strategic vendors. Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including experience analyzing freight spend, vendor pricing, cost structures, forecasts, and operational performance. Demonstrated experience developing and monitoring vendor scorecards, KPIs, corrective action plans, and performance-improvement initiatives. Experience leading quarterly business reviews and executive-level discussions with strategic vendors. Experience developing vendor or logistics strategies supporting product launches, seasonal demand, business growth, or geographic expansion. Working knowledge of freight accruals, transportation invoices, logistics budgeting, cost forecasting, and spend analysis. Strong understanding of transportation markets, logistics cost drivers, carrier performance, service-level management, and supply chain operations. Strong commercial negotiation, financial analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to influence external partners and internal stakeholders without direct reporting authority. Experience within consumer products, powersports, automotive, manufacturing, durable goods, or comparable distribution environments preferred. Strategic thinker with a high degree of ownership, execution capability, and a results-oriented approach. Experience working in a multinational company within an international team is a plus.
