Role Description The Medical Assistant role at MI-Health is a full-time or PT on-site position based in Hilo, HI. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, documenting patient histories, and assisting clinicians with examinations and minor procedures. The Medical Assistant will help manage patient flow, schedule appointments, handle phone calls, and support front-office tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. Additional duties include updating and maintaining medical records, processing forms, and supporting patient education under clinician guidance. This role requires consistent attention to detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a professional, empathetic approach to patient care.
