This contract, on-site position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care within the Medical Practice industry. As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing patient care from admission through discharge, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient. In this associate-level role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, managing complex medical conditions, and coordinating with specialists as needed. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care as a Hospitalist Admit, evaluate, and manage patients with acute and chronic illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams Perform patient rounds and monitor clinical progress Manage transitions of care and discharge planning Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent interventions Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine Associate-level clinical experience in hospital medicine Active medical license in good standing DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with electronic medical records systems Commitment to patient safety and quality care Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends Experience in locum tenens or contract-based practice is preferred Schedule: 7a-7p Patient Volume: 15-18 per day Patient Population: Adults aged 18+ No procedures required Support Staff: APPs and fellow EMR: Epic Must be board-certified ACLS and BLS required Paid travel & expenses
