Production Manager

As our Production Manager , you’ll lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure we deliver on safety, quality, and performance every single day. This role is all about driving results through people—leading teams, optimizing processes, and keeping production running efficiently while upholding our ISO 9001 quality standards. What You’ll Do Lead and coordinate daily production operations to hit safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals Set priorities, allocate resources, and keep production on track Coach and develop Supervisors and Team Leads to build a high-performing team Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence across the floor Monitor KPIs and take action to keep performance moving in the right direction Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management on production-related projects Provide updates and insights to the Plant Manager Support hiring and staffing for your team Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and keep operations running smoothly What Makes You Successful (Core Competencies) Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflows Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability Skilled in prioritization and resource managementPassion for continuous improvement and problem-solving Data-driven mindset—comfortable managing KPIs and performance metrics Commitment to quality (ISO 9001) and safety standards Excellent communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process discipline What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing Experience with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement preferred Familiarity with ISO standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office At Fire-Dex, we invest in our people.
