Job Description
Neurology practice in Fullerton is seeking a medical assistant for a full time position. Medical assistant certification required. Excellent communication skills are required. A medical assistant is needed to perform routine medical office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments and tests, obtaining insurance authorizations, calling prescriptions to pharmacies, scanning documents into the electronic medical record system, rooming patients, prepping rooms, and performing brief cognitive assessments.
Cross training with other employees is required.
Fast-learner who can work independently. Must be able to multi-task and be an active team member. A strong work ethic, the ability to work productively with others, and excellent attendance are required.
