Mid-Level Contract Specialist

Supporting the Federal Transit Administration, the full-time remote Mid-Level Contract Specialist will manage acquisition support across all phases of federal procurements, including planning, solicitation development, contract administration, and closeout activities while ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Key responsibilities Provide mid-level federal acquisition support throughout the procurement lifecycle, including planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and contract administration Prepare and edit solicitation documents and acquisition-related materials, ensuring completeness and readiness for procurement actions Maintain accurate workload tracking and provide timely status updates regarding assigned contractual actions Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and applicable federal contracting experience, or equivalent experience At least 5 years of relevant contracting or acquisition experience Demonstrated experience performing mid-level federal Contract Specialist or Contract Administrator responsibilities Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and multiple contract types Experience preparing or reviewing federal acquisition documentation and supporting contract modifications
