Locums Board Certified Or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon

We are seeking a locums board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon to provide coverage in a trauma and acute care neurosurgery practice with an elective component at an ACS-verified level II trauma center on the South Texas Gulf Coast. This opportunity offers a flexible block schedule, strong APP support, and the ability to work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility while enjoying a coastal lifestyle.

Position highlights:

• Trauma and acute care neurosurgery with elective case volume
• ACS-verified level II trauma center
• Supported by a full-time, experienced advanced practice provider
• Per diem opportunity with 4-7 flexible, 24 hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement

Practice setting:

• New, state-of-the-art hospital
• Advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
• Accredited stroke center with strong subspecialty support
• Collaborative, team-based environment

Clinical responsibilities:

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APP support
• Ensure high-quality patient care and documentation

Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & benefits:

• $4600 per shift
