Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL. This role oversees daily maintenance operations for equipment and facilities, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The Maintenance Manager leads and develops a maintenance team, assigns work orders, ensures safe work practices, and verifies that maintenance tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, managing repairs, maintaining spare parts inventory, and optimizing maintenance processes to reduce downtime and extend asset life. The role also involves collaborating with operations and engineering teams, maintaining maintenance records and compliance documentation, and supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills with experience leading, coaching, and scheduling maintenance teams. Proficiency in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair activities across industrial or manufacturing environments. Experience in preventive maintenance planning, implementation, and optimization to improve equipment reliability. Demonstrated maintenance management capabilities, including work order management, resource allocation, and vendor coordination. Solid understanding of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and safe work practices in an industrial setting. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation. Experience using CMMS or other maintenance management software is preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
