Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications on a night shift schedule.

Details

• dsds plus a 4-bed psych pod
• Patient ratios of 4:1
• Day and night shift unit secretary staffing, with tech coverage Monday through Friday day and night shifts
• Uses Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator equipment
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week on 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
• May float to the psych pod or to other Parkridge system EDs, including Parkridge East, Main, and North
• Unit is Chest Pain and Stroke certified

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and TNCC
• Strong sepsis and stroke care skillset required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care across a range of acute and psychiatric patient presentations
• Join an experienced ED team, with many staff members having 5-20+ years of tenure at the facility
• Strong provider and nurse relationships within the department
• Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
