Key Responsibilities for the Interim CFO
• Provide executive leadership and financial continuity across accounting, finance, treasury, forecasting, and related operational functions.


• Partner closely with the CEO and private equity ownership group on financial strategy, business performance, cash management, and key organizational priorities.


• Oversee technical accounting matters, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, GAAP compliance, and complex accounting considerations.


• Lead forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury management, lender communications, and executive-level financial reporting.


• Support ongoing M&A activity, including financial diligence, valuation discussions, integration considerations, and other corporate finance initiatives.


• As Interim CFO, provide leadership and mentorship to an established, high-performing finance and accounting organization.


• Ensure an effective transition from the outgoing CFO while maintaining consistency across financial reporting, controls, and business operations.
Qualifications for the Interim CFO
• Prior experience serving as a CFO or senior finance executive within a middle-market, private equity-backed, or similarly complex organization.


• Strong accounting foundation with deep knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting, including hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience.


• CPA strongly preferred, particularly candidates who progressed through accounting, controllership, and broader finance leadership roles.


• Demonstrated experience with forecasting, treasury, cash management, lender relationships, M&A, and executive financial leadership.


• Experience partnering directly with CEOs, Boards, investors, and private equity sponsors.


• Ability to quickly assess an organization, establish credibility, and provide confident leadership with minimal ramp-up time.
