Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Jackson, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Michigan This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within a medical-surgical setting. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, as well as participating in problem-solving to meet patient goals. Job Details: Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN); telemetry experience preferred. Additional Information: Candidates may be requested to float to lockdown units; must have strong clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills necessary for professional nursing services.
