Rehabilitation Technician - Lemont

Overview Rehabilitation Technician – Lemont Physical/Occupational Therapy Clinic, opening 8/24. Initial training will be completed at another clinic before relocating to the site. Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Monday‑Friday, hours vary between 7:00a.m. and 7:00p.m.; two evenings per week required through 7:00p.m. Travel: Expected to travel to other sites for coverage needs. Financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non‑physician team members, subject to eligibility. Responsibilities Patient care, support, and guidance under the supervision of the Clinic Director. Execute treatment plans under guidance of PT/OT providers. Properly set up and adjust exercise equipment. Assist with setup and delivery of modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold packs. Utilize educational techniques, including demonstration and cueing, to ensure patient understanding of exercises. Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity. Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider. Clinic flow – monitor patient arrivals, keep appointments on time, and inform patients of any clinical delays. Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and equipment. Order supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from the Manager. Front‑end tasks – perform check‑in, collect co‑pay and financial responsibility, answer phones, schedule future appointments, and maintain patient confirmations and rescheduling. Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral teams regarding patient insurance benefits. Schedule management for clinicians, including patient confirmation calls and rescheduling as needed. Qualifications CPR certification required (offered through Duly Health and Care). High School Diploma. Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations. Understanding of principles, contraindications, and precautions in the use of therapy modalities. Ability to identify proper patient setup on each piece of equipment and adjust when necessary. Ability to identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning. Team-oriented mindset. Attention to detail and follow‑through. Problem‑solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills. Strong communication skills. Compensation Base pay range: $15.10–$18.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
