Registered Nurse (RN) / PACU

This position involves critical patient care within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role requires a flexible shift schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with availability for on-call responsibilities as needed.

Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM, 3 days per week

On-call responsibilities: Available from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM one night each week, plus one 24-hour call during a weekend every six weeks

Provide total patient care in the PACU setting

Monitor patients' recovery post-anesthesia and address any immediate needs

Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 to 1:1

Utilize Cerner-Surginet for electronic medical records management

Current RN licensure

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Critical care experience in PACU, ICU, or emergency department

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting
