Working within the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Central Oregon Collective and under limited supervision, the DSP provides assistance to the organizations clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs).Central Oregon Collective provides free, paid training and we promote within so for individuals looking for a career opportunity and a place to grow, this could be for you.These shifts are Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday 6am-6:30pm.Things our staff are saying:"I love the hours and wonder why other companies don't follow suit - I work 4 days then I'm off 4 days. Our co-workers work pretty well together as a team".ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include working with the clients as well as assisting the Manager and Associate Manager, which may include, but are not limited to the following:Hands on involvement with residents daily routine and needsAssistance for residents to perform their personal care, including hygiene, grooming, exercise, range of motion, bladder and bowel careDispensing medicationsMaintain a clean and attractive homeAssist in preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirementsInteract respectfully with clients by encouraging support to make choices, develop independence, and to participate in all areas within the community, as well as working with clients 1:1Completion of all daily documentationProvide transportation utilizing company vehicles and supervision to ensure residents consistently access and engage in preferred community activitiesPHYSICAL DEMANDSFrequently required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push, and reach.Be able to manipulate a minimum of 75 lbs., assisted or unassisted, to transfer or lift products or non-ambulatory residentsMust be physically able to transfer a person between two points with assistance, which may include twisting, turning and / or bending while lifting/assisting an individualBENEFITSMedical/Dental/Vision after 60 daysDouble pay on holiday'sPay rate increases every 6 months for the first 2 years, then yearly thereafterGenerous PTO program-starts accruing on day 1Monthly Bonus incentivesStarting pay for Day shift is $20.00 per hour and NOC shifts receive an additional $1.50 per hour.QualificationsPass Criminal History Background CheckBe 18 years of age or olderPossess a valid Oregon Driver License or State issued IDCentral Oregon Collective is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
