Eastman - Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Your Mission Pneumatic Systems including High Pressure Compressed Air Distribution Systems Hydraulic systems including cylinders and pumps Electrical Control Systems troubleshooting for Siemens Simatic, Allen Bradley Logic 5000/500, Beckhoff controls, proximity switches, relay logic, limit switches, network communication systems, Profibus and Profinet Configure Inverters, VFDs, servos, encoders, and motors Basic troubleshooting using multimeters, insulation testers, meggers, oscilloscopes, clamp‑on ammeters Basic safety understanding: OSHA requirements including LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE Work on mechanical systems using correct tools and PPE – packaging conveyor systems, chain drives, gearboxes, drive shafts, pulley systems, sprockets, rollers, solenoids, valves, splitters, bearings, belts, timing belts, chains Operate at heights; drive/operate scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts regularly Work methodically and quickly under pressure, assess equipment failures, determine root cause, and perform effective repairs Prioritize jobs and make critical decisions to eliminate downtime and enhance overall OEE per equipment Read European electrical schematics and order components Must be able to see colors for electrical work, show interest in learning new equipment, be a self‑starter Flexographic printing presses and high‑speed packaging line experience is a plus Your Profile Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing plant Minimum 4 years of experience repairing W&H Tuber and Bottomer machines (preferred) Electrician certification preferred High school diploma required; bachelor of science degree or mechanic certifications preferred Able to lift 41–70 pounds Able to walk or stand for at least 5 hours Work hours may be changed when necessary to meet company and customer needs We Offer Benefits commencing the first of the month following hire: full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Shift premium paid for hours worked on 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) and 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am) 401(k) retirement savings plan PTO and 12 paid holidays Monthly incentive bonuses Health benefits, parking, referral program Training opportunities (e.g., The Mondi Academy) An interesting job within the packaging & paper industry; empowering environment; part of a multicultural company We encourage applications from traditionally underrepresented groups, including women, visible minorities, LGBTQI+ individuals, and people with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mondi Group
