Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (IP) located in a small, critical access hospital. This role involves providing outpatient, acute care, and some long-term care services. The position begins on 10/20/2026 and runs through 01/19/2027, with flexible scheduling to meet facility needs. The clinician will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care in a 46-bed medical center.

Job Details:

• Location: Critical Access Hospital
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in state, NBCOT certification, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience, 0 years minimum experience, out-of-state license holders with a compact license accepted, first-timers accepted
• Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in acute care, outpatient, or long-term care settings, familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, experience with patient populations such as post-hip replacement, total knee replacement, or soft tissue injuries
• Certifications: BLS, NBCOT
• Additional Information:
  • Coverage includes outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed services
  • Travelers may be asked to float within scope to cover various units as needed
  • Must be available to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and must request all specific schedule considerations during submittal
  • No call required, no additional miscellaneous operational responsibilities specified
  • Housing is provided by the facility, typically in one-bedroom apartments, with move-in occurring no earlier than 72 hours before the start date and no later than 24 hours after the end date
  • Travel assignment is from 10/20/2026 to 01/19/2027
  • Must include responses regarding prior experience at a Providence facility, two references covering the last 12 months, and confirmation of licensure status
