Job Description

Become a part of a dynamic breast cancer program at a prominent hospital, collaborating with a leading cancer center and a top reconstructive breast plastic surgeon in the Pittsburgh area.

The Role

Leadership Opportunity: Serve as the Medical Director and contribute to program development.
Surgical Focus: No general surgery on-call duties; a track record of performing over 150 breast cancer surgeries each year.
Collaborative Environment: Foster strong relationships with a multi-disciplinary team, including radiology, a renowned breast plastic surgeon, medical oncology, and operating room staff.
Academic Involvement: Potential for a formal academic appointment through a partner institution and leadership in tumor board meetings.
Accreditation: Work within a Commission on Cancer (COC) accredited breast program.
Support Staff: Benefit from a robust team, including a dedicated breast radiologist, physician assistants, pathologists, and an experienced office manager.
