Position Highlights:

• Job Type: Pre-Op PACU RN
• Location: Community Hospital
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Position: Open until March 31, 2026 or until filled

Responsibilities:

• Family-Centered Care: Recognize the patient or designee as the source of control and full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient’s preferences, values, and needs.
• Teamwork & Collaboration : Function effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences and values for delivery of optimal health care.
• Quality Improvement: Use data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and use improvement methods to design and test changes to continuously improve the quality and safety of healthcare systems.
• Safety: Minimize risk of harm to patients and providers through both system effectiveness and individual performance.
• Informatics: Use information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
• Leadership: Agents of change within the organization, involved in committees, professional development, and support organizational goals, as well as, active participants in the community. Nurses support organizational goals, advance the nursing profession, and enhance professional development by extending their influence to professional and community groups.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements (certification, licensing, education, and experience to hold the position).

• RN License
• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association with at least 3 months left after expiration is required upon hire

Compensation:

• $38.00 - $43.70 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• Bonus: $20,000 (for RN’s with 2 or more years experience)
• Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

Additional Information:

• Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 after starting work.
