Production Manager

Location: Indio Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead production floor activities in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing production teams, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily production operations
• Manage employee scheduling and staffing assignments for production lines
• Train, mentor, and develop production employees and leadership staff
• Monitor and enforce workplace safety standards and company policies
• Conduct employee coaching, corrective actions, and performance management
• Supervise production line crews, operators, and production leadership personnel
• Ensure all required quality checks, inspections, and reporting are completed accurately
• Assist with inventory management, material usage, and FIFO processes
• Monitor production efficiencies, line utilization, and operational performance
• Collaborate with scheduling, inventory, engineering, and maintenance departments to support production goals
• Manage purchasing of production-related supplies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational growth
• Lead and participate in production and management meetings
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Leadership role required
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in production scheduling, inventory control, and operational oversight
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with production software systems and reporting tools
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to efficiency and productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
