Central Service Technician – Central Sterile ProcessingSchedule: 32-hour days, some weeknight call and some weekend call.Assignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements:High school graduate (or equivalent) requiredRegistered Central Service Technician certification requiredMinimum of 6 months experience in central sterile processingRoles & Responsibilities:Create assignments and communicate with the OR charge nurse/practice leader about operational needs.Ensure smooth operation of necessary surgical instrumentation in perioperative services.Maintain CRCST certification and assist with continued education and in-services for the department.Monitor and operate sterilization equipment, processing items for either ethylene oxide or steam sterilization.Stock and maintain supply inventory and assist in departmental performance improvement activities.Adhere to aseptic techniques and perform general cleaning of department areas.Client Details:City: GardnerState: MAJob Board Disclaimer: TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
