Ready to move in-house and make an impact across a diverse and evolving business platform? Robert Half Legal is partnering with a well-established, privately held organization to identify a Corporate Attorney for its Birmingham-based legal team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a stable, collaborative legal department where attorneys are valued as trusted business partners and have the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactional, commercial contracting, and real estate matters. The position supports a growing domestic and international operation involved in industrial, energy, natural resources, and infrastructure-related projects.

What You'll Do

✅ Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, terms and conditions, leases, deeds, and related documents

✅ Provide practical legal advice and counsel to business leaders and operational stakeholders

✅ Support real estate transactions and related development matters

✅ Identify legal risks and propose business-oriented solutions

✅ Advise on compliance with applicable state and federal laws affecting company operations

✅ Partner closely with senior leadership on a wide range of corporate legal issues

Qualifications

✔ J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

✔ 3+ years of transactional, commercial contracting, corporate, or real estate experience

✔ Experience gained in a law firm and/or corporate legal department

✔ Strong contract review, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

✔ Ties to Birmingham or a demonstrated desire to build a long-term career in the area

✔ Spanish language skills are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

$150,000 - $200,000 base salary, depending on experience

Discretionary annual bonus
