Position OverviewStuart Contractors, LLC is a growing civil site construction company performing projects throughoutMaryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. We are currently hiring an experiencedConcrete Finisher to join our field team.We are looking for someone who understands concrete work, takes pride in producing a quality finishedproduct, and works well as part of a crew. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent year-roundwork, overtime opportunities, benefits, and room to grow within the company.Our current need is for projects located in Elkridge, Maryland. Once work in this area iscompleted, some travel to future project locations may be required.What You'll Do:Perform concrete placement and finishing for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, pads, and other site concretePrepare, install, and remove concrete formsScreed, float, trowel, edge, and finish concrete to project specificationsOperate hand tools and power finishing equipment safely and effectivelyApply curing materials, sealers, and other concrete treatments as requiredRead grade stakes and assist with basic field layoutInspect finished work and help ensure company quality standards are metMaintain an organized and safe work areaCoordinate with foremen and other crew members to keep projects moving efficientlyWhat We Are Looking For:Previous hands-on concrete finishing experience; 2+ years preferredKnowledge of common concrete finishing techniques, tools, and equipmentAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ poundsComfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditionsReliable transportation to assigned job locationsStrong attendance and punctualityAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a construction crewAttention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipWhat Stuart Contractors Offers:$20-$25 per hour, depending on experienceHealth insurance 401(k) plan with 4% company matchPaid time offPaid holidaysOpportunities for overtimeConsistent, year-round employmentOpportunities for advancement within Stuart Contractors
