Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Job Type: Per-Diem/PRN

Compensation: $30 - $40/hr

Schedule/Availability: Flexible availability. Scheduled days typically fall between M-Th.

Responsibilities:

Post-Anesthesia Monitoring: Track vital signs, oxygen saturation, airway status, and neurological levels as the patient wakes up.

Pain and Nausea Control: Administer prescribed IV medications, injections, or oral drugs to keep the patient comfortable.

Wound and Drain Management: Inspect surgical sites, change dressings, manage compression garments, and empty surgical drains.

Patient Education: Teach patients and caregivers about home care, activity limits, warning signs of infection, and medication schedules.

Emergency Response: Act quickly if complications arise, utilizing training in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)

Requirements:

Prior background in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ICU, ER, or surgical/plastic surgery setting

Strong physical assessment abilities, crisis management, empathy, and clear communication

Licensure & Certifications:

Board-certified RN

Active and in good standing state license

Active BLS and ACLS certification

Clinical Competencies:

Knowledge of infection prevention, aseptic technique, and sharps safety

Ability to recognize and respond to adverse events and complications associated with aesthetic treatments

Compliance & Documentation:

Ability to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and company compliance standards

Commitment to patient safety, informed consent, and ethical clinical practice

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements with hands and fingers

Ability to safely handle needles, sharps, and medical supplies

Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift standard medical aesthetic equipment and inventory
