This role is perfect for someone who combines skilled hands with a keen eye for detail.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceCareer development opportunitiesClimate-controlled work environmentState-of-the-art machinery and equipmentBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceRequirementsKey Responsibilities:Perform precision deburring operations on machined components including filing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding, masking and polishing parts in accordance with standards set by Addison Precision Manufacturing and the customer.Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using various hand tools and equipmentInspect parts for compliance with customer specifications.Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Maintain detailed documentation of work completed.Keep work area clean and organized.Follow safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.Handle delicate and high-value components with care.Report any quality concerns to supervision.Qualification Requirements:High school diploma or GED Required; Trade/Vocational certificate in precision machining a plus!1+ years' experience in deburring or finishing operations.Experience in aerospace parts finishing a plus!Ability to solve problems, think analytically and critically.Experience using hand tools and deburring equipment.Strong attention to detail and quality focus.Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Reliable and consistent work ethic.Knowledge of measurement instruments.Experience using manual and electric hand tools and machines.Ability to stand for extended periods.Environment & Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear.The job may involve prolonged periods of sitting and standing.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.The employee is frequently required to use the computer.May involve the use of oils and solvents.Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)Generally, works in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.Safety Glasses are required and may require area specific safety trainingThis position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the production process.
