About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Block schedule available, every other weekend 3x12 Hr Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred. License: Requires current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required. Must-Have: - Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to qualify for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
