Role Overview

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in synergy with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers in therapy methods to foster continued success outside of clinical settings.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Commitment to ongoing education and additional post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certification

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
