At the Center for Pain Recovery, we provide cutting‑edge care and compassionate support to individuals dealing with chronic pain, using innovative therapies such as ketamine infusion treatments. We are looking for an Outpatient APRN or PA to oversee and optimize patients’ care as part of their recovery journey. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Job Summary As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will lead the administration of ketamine infusions and manage an outpatient pain clinic, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, optimize, and monitor patient progress. Key Responsibilities Oversee the administration of ketamine infusions for patients with chronic pain, including pre‑ and post‑treatment assessments. Provide ongoing management and follow‑up care for patients receiving ketamine infusions, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient safety. Work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment to integrate ketamine therapy with other pain management approaches. Offer patient education on ketamine therapy, chronic pain management, and lifestyle optimization. Monitor and manage potential side effects and adverse reactions related to ketamine infusions and other treatments. Participate in the clinic’s outpatient care by seeing patients for pre‑procedure visits, follow‑ups, ongoing evaluations, and adjustments to their pain management plan. Hold ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Education & Licensure Required: MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires or those transitioning to an APRN licensed role. Graduate of an accredited APRN program. Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program. Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher degree recognized by the state licensing board. Graduate of an accredited APRN program; if in neonatal care, a Master’s degree required upon hire. Certifications Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in applicable state(s). National certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist by a nationally accredited organization recognized by the state Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required; other advanced life‑support certifications may apply based on setting. Must be credentialed and privileged by the Medical Executive Committee and Governing Body of applicable hospitals. For APRNs: Must have arrangements with at least one physician as required by the State Board. For PA: Must have a Physician Supervision Agreement and signed addendum. Languages Oral and written communication in English. Complexity of Work Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated competency in advanced assessment and diagnosis. Proficiency in electronic medical record use. High standard of moral and ethical behavior. Compassionate, professional, and committed to excellent patient care. Capacity to work independently in a stressful environment. Work Experience Related clinical experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for long periods. Manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination for physical examinations. Corrected vision and hearing to a normal range. Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs. May require exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions, using PPE as required. Compensation Minimum Annual Salary: $92,620.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $157,480.00 Pay range applies to full‑time (1.0 FTE) positions. PRN positions have an hourly rate.
