This role is primarily focused on supporting the developmental needs of young children, particularly those facing disabilities or delays within a school setting in Miami, Florida. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and formulate effective intervention strategies. \n
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailoring services to meet the unique needs of each child and family. \n
- Monitor and evaluate outcomes as part of a collaborative team, adjusting intervention methods as necessary based on ongoing observations and assessments. \n
- Provide evidence-based support and resources to families, enhancing their ability to foster their child's growth and development. \n
- Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, ensuring the highest standards of practice and safety for the children and families we serve. \n
- Utilize a coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices in delivering teaching strategies that promote learning within everyday settings. \n
The primary focus of this position involves working with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will engage with families to ensure they have the tools and resources necessary to support their child's growth across multiple domains, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your role as an advocate and educator will significantly influence their developmental outcomes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure by the Department of Public Health and possession of a valid LCSW. \n
- At least one year of experience working with children in an early intervention setting, demonstrating familiarity with developmental milestones and intervention techniques. \n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with children, families, and team members. \n
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to manage caseloads efficiently. \n
- Commitment to utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting to various learning styles. \n
