Delaware Propane, a locally owned propane company, is seeking an organized, dependable Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator to support our customers and service technicians. This position involves answering calls, scheduling service appointments, preparing accurate work orders, and following up to keep customers and technicians informed. The right person communicates clearly, pays attention to details, and asks questions when clarification is needed. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in customers professionally. Schedule and confirm service appointments, including appointment windows and whether customers must be home. Prepare complete work orders with customer requests, access instructions, and details technicians need. Coordinate with technicians, track work progress, and communicate schedule changes to customers. Prepare customer proposals and obtain required written approvals. Submit and track Miss Utility tickets and locate requests. Review completed work orders for accurate billing and coordinate needed corrections. Coordinate propane tank monitor installations and follow-up. Maintain cathodic protection testing records and upcoming testing schedules. Keep customer records accurate and follow through on outstanding requests. Qualifications Previous customer service or office administration experience. Scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination experience preferred. Strong phone communication, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage changing priorities while keeping accurate records. Comfort learning computer systems and using office software. Dependable attendance and a proactive approach to communication. Experience with Cargas, DocuSign, propane, HVAC, plumbing, or another service industry is a plus. \nCompany Description
