Quick Facts Location: Spokane, WA at 5633 North Lidgerwood Street Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Full-time coverage Licenses/Certs: Active WA license or IMLC, DEA required, BC in Gastroenterology, GI Fellowship completed Experience: Prior GI fellowship training mandatory Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (details to be confirmed upon application) Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Weekly pay via direct deposit Paid sick time, accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements as applicable Robust referral bonus program Dedicated 24/7 team support What You’ll Do Provide inpatient gastroenterology care at Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals Perform outpatient procedures if desired (indicate interest in your application) Cover hospitalist roles, including potential OT procedures during inpatient stays Collaborate with hospital teams to deliver high-quality GI care Ensure compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements Participate in consulting and inpatient rounds during scheduled hours Assist with emergent GI cases when necessary What You Need Required: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (BC) Completed GI Fellowship Active medical license (WA or IMLC) and DEA registration Minimum of 2 weeks availability per month (flexible options for multiple providers) Preferred: Prior hospitalist or inpatient GI experience Ability to perform outpatient procedures About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading facility in Spokane, WA, providing inpatient gastroenterology services. Due to a retirement, a full-time provider is needed immediately to support hospitalist duties.
