Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 40-bed oncology unit, requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 40-bed hospital oncology unit caring for patients throughout the continuum of cancer care
• Patient population includes individuals receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and cellular therapy treatments
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Level 1 trauma center environment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an oncology setting
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Completion of the FACIS Questionnaire if applicable for disciplinary actions
• US Social Security Number and a US address required

• Oncology RNs provide care and support to patients undergoing cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation
• MOAB De-Escalation Training and NIH Certification are referenced and may be required within periodic intervals
• Candidates may be classified as local or travel based on proximity to the facility, impacting compensation
