Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Medical Director - Adult Primary Care and Geriatrics to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details

• Serve as the direct supervisor, provide clinical guidance, and complete performance evaluations for clinical staff.
• Direct, evaluate, and supervise all aspects of the following Departments: Adult Primary Care, Geriatrics, Same Day, Weight Management, and IDA G Family Medicine.
• Provide direct patient care and precept Residents in Resident practice.
• Collaborate with the Medicine Residency Program Directors to ensure an optimal continuity clinic experience for Medicine Residents.
• Develop and lead Departmental performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate closely with ambulatory nursing and administrative leadership.
• Participate in weekly departmental operations and committee meetings.
