About the Position

Job Title: RN MICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MICU/MSICU License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 or more years of MICU/MSICU experience. Description: This is a travel nursing position for an RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The shift will be from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role guarantees a minimum of 36 hours per week. The unit provides assignments based on patient acuity and staff skills. You will be working with all types of ICU equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Candidates should have experience performing various bedside procedures, including central line placements and intubations. Clean and professional attire is required. Scrub color for RNs is royal blue. Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails without artificial enhancements. Hair must be neat and pulled back if it is shoulder length or longer. Beards and mustaches should be neatly trimmed. Visible body piercings other than ear piercings are not allowed. All policies regarding attendance and floating will be followed.
