Client Service Specialist - Commercial Lines

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The Client Service Specialist executes all administrative tasks related to account management and policy servicing. Responsibilities include: Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and maintain accurate account records. Handle client requests, policy updates, and back‑end service work to support the overall client experience and meet internal compliance standards. Order renewal policies, verify them against proposals, and process them in the Agency Management System. Enter endorsements on company websites, follow up on endorsements not received from carriers, and check endorsements for accuracy. Bill endorsements and send to client. Follow up on new business submissions with carriers not managed by Risk Placement Specialists. Enter and rate policies in carrier websites and order new policies as needed. Issue standard certificates of insurance and other forms for holders (e.g., EOP, binders). Monitor payment status of direct bill policies to prevent cancellations and notify the Account Manager of risk of cancellation due to non‑payment. Track claims and update the agency management system with activity, payments, and closures. Verify audit accuracy, review with agency staff, bill audits, and send audit review letters to clients. Order MVRs and loss runs as directed. Review and process mail. Act as a backup for office phone calls and walk‑in traffic as needed. Fully adopt innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best‑in‑class client service experience. Perform other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE Property and Casualty License from state of domicile required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained thereafter (may be required). Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; may be required depending on location. 1+ year experience in Customer Service preferred. Knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings, and underwriting procedures preferred. Working knowledge of commercial lines of coverage preferred. Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Computer literate with ability to learn new software. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with clients, co‑workers, carriers, vendors and others. Ability to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies. Ability to work independently with limited daily supervision and effectively in a team environment. Ability to function effectively under tight time constraints, consistently meet strict deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment. WHY CHOOSE RELATION?
