Pediatric Pulmonologist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Goryeb Children's Hospital, part of Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an additional Pediatric Pulmonologist to join the Pulmonology and Respiratory Center for Children at Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center. Our highly trained team of pediatric physicians provide a full range of pediatric pulmonary care services, including full pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy capabilities. We are an approved CFF Care Center and run a pediatric sleep medicine program.

This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled pediatric pulmonologist to join a well-established practice with a robust staff. The ideal candidate should be collaborative and will be responsible for providing direct outpatient care to patients with possible pediatric pulmonary disorders at Atlantic Health System Hospitals, outpatient facilities and associated satellite locations. This position will have both clinical and academic responsibilities including primary and consultative inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Pulmonary Medicine
• Sleep training not required but beneficial
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey

Salary Range

$225,000-$255,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives

Location

Located on the campus of Morristown Medical Center and part of Atlantic Health Children's Health, Goryeb Children's Hospital is a nonprofit, state-designated "Children's Hospital" - an earned recognition from New Jersey and the national Children's Hospital Association. With more than 250 community pediatricians on staff and more than 100 board-certified pediatric specialists, we are northern New Jersey's leading specialized pediatric hospital. To meet high demand, Goryeb Children's Hospital is currently expanding its pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and adding inpatient beds. These spacious private patient suites will feature the latest equipment and rooming-in accommodations for parents, as well as a dedicated pharmacy for improved safety and quality of care.
