HOST/SERVER ASSISTANT

Compensation: $19.29 per hour. Tip eligibility. Per the Colorado Constitution, this employer claims tip credit per Colorado standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile. Greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner, seats them in the dining and bar areas, and ensures a smooth handoff to service staff. Coordinates wait times and seats guests with a sense of urgency. Always smiles and has genuine conversations with guests. Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Commits to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards. Busses tables, delivers food, and supports the dining room while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled. Has general knowledge of the food and drink menu and can recommend and upsell products. Answers phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls. Leads the lobby experience for each guest following Outback hospitality standards. Assists guests and supports servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs. Able to work in hot and cold environments. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping. Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems. Ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral; ability to adjust focus as needed; works in low or dim lighting. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
