Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' unique challenges and craft tailored treatment strategies aimed at meeting their rehabilitation and functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply scientifically-supported methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and everyday living skills.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and support to patients and their caregivers to encourage continued progress at home.
• Track Progress and Make Adjustments: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as required, keeping them on track for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for further education and certification beyond initial qualifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
