PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in cleaning and setting up the room and tables to the specification of the Food and Beverage Director and/or the Restaurant Reservation Book. Bus and reset tables, serve bread & butter and pour iced water on guests arrival and replenish as needed. Assist servers and host/hostess. Respond to guests needs and keep dining room and work areas clean both during and after use.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete station assignments and side duties. Check that service area is stocked with ice, warm bread, butters, cups, linens, and water pitchers.
• Properly busses and cleans tables, chairs and seats, resets tables promptly after guests leave, sends dirty dishes and glasses to dishwasher.
• Reviews server food orders while food running.
• Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.
• Knows table numbers and grille room/dining room layout.
• Responds quickly to guest requests or notifies servers responsible; or manager, of any guest requests, questions or complaints.
• Understands and follows safety and sanitation practices and works with clean and sanitized equipment.
• Stocks and replenishes cups, glasses, sodas, silverware, etc. and backs for the bartender.
• Performs duties that require standing, fast movement throughout the dining room, kitchen and service area.
• Position requires bending, reaching and lifting 50 pounds or more.
