Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will directly support students' communication and learning journeys. This contract opportunity, running from ASAP through June 4th, 2027, offers you the chance to shape positive outcomes for children in a dynamic school environment located near Zion, Illinois. The need is for in-person SLPs to work a consistent 35-hour week, with 1–2 positions open.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP Licensure is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a K–12 school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide both direct and consultative services
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all state and federal guidelines
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
