Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) role based at Sushi Alive West Chase in Tampa, FL. The EMT will provide prompt emergency medical care to guests or team members experiencing illness or injury on the premises. Day-to-day tasks include assessing medical conditions, delivering basic life support, stabilizing patients, and coordinating with local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for transport when needed. The EMT will maintain medical supplies and equipment, document incidents accurately, and follow established safety and emergency response protocols. The role also involves working closely with management to promote a safe environment and participate in emergency preparedness and training activities. Qualifications Emergency medical response skills, including Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience. Current certification or eligibility with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Training in Medicine and, preferably, Paramedic or advanced EMT-level competencies. Knowledge of basic life support, first aid, and CPR, with up-to-date certifications. Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with diverse individuals. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail in recording incidents and treatments. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced restaurant environment, including evenings and weekends as needed.
