The Momofuku Group is comprised of restaurants and bakeries located in the US, Australia, and Canada, a magazine, and an equipment manufacturing company. We are fun, exciting and fast-paced. Nominated as a James Beard 'Outstanding Restaurant', Noodle Bar is David Chang's first Momofuku restaurant. Opened in 2004, Noodle remains Momofuku's flagship location. As the birthplace of our pork buns, Noodle Bar serves ramen as well as a roster of seasonal dishes and chef specials.
Some things you'll be doing:
- Monitoring and ensuring company standard operating procedures are met
- Working with seasonal ingredients
- Working with the executive chef on menu creation
- Executing menu items from start to finish
- Manage all kitchen employees including training, coaching, scheduling and disciplining
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- High volume restaurant experience preferred.
- Experience with back of house administrative and managerial duties a must
- Proven ability in teaching and mentoring kitchen employees
- Exceptional communication and supervisory skills
- Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment
