Academic Advisor & Student Support Specialist

Seeking a dedicated Academic Advisor & Student Support Specialist, this full-time remote position will manage student admissions, academic planning, and support for a caseload of approximately 60 students, focusing on individualized academic plans and accommodations. Key responsibilities: Conduct academic reviews and develop personalized four-year academic plans for incoming students Review and implement 504 Plans and IEPs, ensuring appropriate accommodations are provided Provide ongoing academic advising and support, monitoring student progress and facilitating goal setting Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in school counseling or academic advising preferred Experience with 504 Plans, IEPs, and student accommodations strongly preferred Familiarity with college admissions processes at the high school or college level preferred Technological proficiency in student information systems required Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a diverse community
