About the Role:
Red Robin in Vancouver, WA is looking for a talented and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen crew! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Red Robin's recipes, portioning, and quality standards
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and sauté stations
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate ticket times during high-volume service
• Stock, rotate, and organize ingredients and prep items at your station
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and restocking
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume meal periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering quality food consistently
