Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology

Position Overview Department: GCMG Imaging Center Kenilworth – General Administration Status: Full time Hours per week: 36 Schedule: Rotating days Monday–Saturday; 3 12‑hour shifts 6:30–19:00, no call or holidays Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour. Where you will work: The Radiology Department is a specialized procedural area that provides expert care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging. It includes four Interventional Radiology suites and fifteen pre/post‑procedure bays where nurses manage patient preparation, moderate sedation, and recovery for a wide range of procedures. Radiology nurses oversee care across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic X‑ray, nuclear medicine, and PET. This fast‑paced unit is staffed by nurses who are highly skilled in procedural nursing, sedation management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. At least 6 months of RN experience (position is not for new graduates). Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
