Job Details Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel (FULL TIME) All employees receive a FREE POOL PASS and other on-property discounts. Starting at $18.00/hour Primary Function Maintain the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge buildings in an attractive and safe manner at all times. Provide shuttle and banquet services for guests and assist with guest requests and needs. Reporting and Accountability The Lodge House Person reports to, and is accountable to the Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor. Authority The Lodge House Person has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Lodge maintenance department, as assigned by the Supervisor. Physical Requirements Adequate physical agility to perform normal cleaning and banquet set up activities such as climbing ladders, kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, using hand tools and power tools, etc. Ability to push, pull, carry and lift 45 pounds Current and valid Colorado driver’s license with excellent driving record Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and follow verbal or written instructions in English. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Other Requirements More maintenance experience can positively affect job level Adequate computer skills to be able to perform necessary department computer tasks (for example, logging maintenance activities, inputting time records, inputting preventative maintenance and service information, etc.) Prefer one or two years’ experience in housekeeping or customer service Work Hours and Days Since the maintenance of the Lodge facilities takes place both during operating and non-operating hours, the House person’s work hours and days must be flexible, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of the Lodge Maintenance Department.
