Medical Biller

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Temporary Medical Biller will pursue collection of receivables from third-party and governmental payers, ensuring prompt resolution and payment while maintaining accurate account records. Key responsibilities Conduct continual follow-up on outstanding accounts to facilitate prompt resolution or payment Prepare and post necessary adjustments or claim changes on accounts to expedite the collection process Analyze payment and contractual amounts on remittances and manage denied claims to ensure appropriate billing Required qualifications At least 1 year of experience in Hospital Billing, Follow-Up, or Collections Strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies and commercial & government payer billing requirements Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends in Managed Care Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in using personal computers and standard office equipment
