Pediatric Audiologist

Work Location: Orange, California Work Shift: Day – 08hrs (United States of America) Job Summary The Audiologist provides complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations and implements appropriate treatment plans. Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance. Pay Range Minimum $95,098 • Midpoint $126,006 • Maximum $156,894 Experience Required: Minimum one year of clinical experience. Education Required: Doctorate degree in Audiology or, prior to January 1, 2008, hold a master’s degree or equivalent in audiology from an accredited educational institution. Preferred: Doctorate degree in Audiology. Specialized Skills Required: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others from all cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds in an empathic and confidential manner; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred: Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese. Licensure Required: California Audiology license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: California Dispensing Audiology license. Work Environments - Functional Demand Light - Moderate energy level. Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (e.g., empty bed, stretcher).
